Mark B. Woodland, MS, MD, FACOG, is a member and chair of the Pennsylvania State Medical Board and current member of Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) board of directors.

This past year, he chaired the Ethics and Professionalism Committee for the board leading the committee’s effort in producing and publishing the FSMB Guidelines for AI in medical regulation. He is Clinical Professor of OBGYN and Associate Dean of Advocacy/Policy, with Drexel University College of Medicine (DUCOM). Dr. Woodland is known for his expertise in Graduate Medical Education (GME), Ethics and Professionalism, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Last year he was asked to speak on AI and MIS for the 6^th Annual Endoscopy Forum at MIT. He is also active with the American College of OBGYN (ACOG), the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and the Accreditation Counsel for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Dr. Woodland is clinically active, serving as a gynecologist for over 30 years in the greater Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania and is continually recognized by patient service agencies.

Dr. Woodland is well published in the areas of gynecologic surgery, graduate medical education, and physician well-being/resilience.
